So it was a very big day indeed on August 15th when over 500 children – from the rural outstations of All Saints’, the local urban community and a local shelter for streetchildren - sporting, where possible, some type of football kit (the fit was unimportant) - arrived to take part in the Sunday morning service and to welcome Pitso Mosimane, team coach for “Bafana Bafana”(the South African national soccer team). How they sang and cheered when he unveiled a pile of presents for them - balls and team shirts autographed by members of the national team!

After lunch the visitors joined the procession to Montshiwa Stadium, and watched a tournament between the teams. Remarkable natural skills and a well disciplined team spirit provided a very entertaining afternoon, and thoughts turned to what a worthwhile project this has proved to be.
